Niklas Letmathe obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). After graduation, he worked in consulting for two years before joining the Chair of Management Accounting as a research assistant and PhD student.

Management accounting and the pathway to a sustainable economy are intertwined, both on an individual company level and for the economy as a whole. We focus on the role of management accounting in facilitating progress towards more sustainable practices and in realizing projects, reducing the environmental impact of the operations.
