Regulations for the recognition of foreign studies (Bachelor / Master)
Study abroad is intended to complement the Karlsruhe degree program in a meaningful way. The following regulations apply to the recognition of study abroad credits:
- Recognition requirements Bachelor:
- The lecture attended abroad should be an adequate substitute for the course of the module not attended in Karlsruhe with regard to the learning objectives.
- Recognition requirements Master:
- The lecture attended abroad should meaningfully complement the subjects taken in Karlsruhe. Similarity with subjects taken in Karlsruhe should be avoided.
- The lecture attended abroad should be an adequate substitute for the course of the module not attended in Karlsruhe with regard to the learning objectives.
- Participation in a Master's program (or PhD program) is desired. In exceptional cases, lectures in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor program can be recognized.
We will gladly sign off more than one lecture abroad in the Learning Agreement, so that you have more flexibility in compiling your schedule on site. You can find more information about our modules under Study and Teaching.
