Global warming poses a major threat to humankind. Stakeholders like media,
customers and authorities put increasing pressure on companies to make their
contribution. The measurement and the integration of emissions reduction
measures in business routines poses a challenge that is new to practitioners. This
work presents an eco-efficiency-based information system, that deals with LCA
uncertainty by integrating over-the-time evolving LCA premises. This approach is
designed to enable better decision-making for practitioners considering the
challenges with different LCA premises. It has been successfully tested and rolled
out, conducting a case study at a large German automotive manufacturer.
